Get very organised. The first thing I do when I wake up is spend a couple of minutes working through the order of events for the day. If you know what you are doing, and when, then you are going to save yourself a whole lot of stress. Planning in the middle of the mini-dramas that children are likely to create can be hard.
Run this side of your life like a military operation, but don’t adopt a military manner! Kids appreciate being scheduled, even though they may balk at your battle plan.
