How to use Twitter effectively

Of all the social sites, the one I considered to be the most useless waste of time was Twitter. You send ‘tweets’ – messages with a maximum of 140 characters – to announce to your audience (friends, admirers, etc.) what you’re doing at that moment.

Can you see why anyone with a family or busy job would consider this an unbelievable waste of time? Who cares who’s waiting for the handyman to arrive? Who has the time to continually tweet and read hundreds of tweets from others?

However; there are some benefits of using Twitter:
First and instant source of breaking news and events
Immediate answer to a problem or question
Find out what people are saying about you, your brand and/or your company
Use as a connection tool with customers
You can send out a tweet or use their search engine on
