Visuals with your text

If you have four or five lines of text on a slide, place a relevant image in the lower right-hand corner.

In PowerPoint, select Insert Image. You’ll have an option to do an instant search for images via your private files (My collections), your computer (Office) or the Internet
(Microsoft online). As mentioned in Tip 65, Google Images is a source to find images too.

Extra bonus

The six times six rule. Tiny text is the cardinal sin of PowerPoint. Refrain from more than six words and six bullet points per slide. Try to use a sans serif font, like Arial, Verdana or Tahoma. It’s easier to read in the large font sizes.
